Years ago, I had to rebuild after a devastating business failure.
Those of you who have gone through this yourself know that you need to overcome several logistical and emotional issues before recovering from such an event.
I needed time to reflect not only on my business practices but also on myself. With that time I was able to pull the pieces together and start to grow something new.
I made a career pivot from manufacturing and distribution in the medical industry to digital marketing and content creation.
The crazy thing was that my skills from a completely unrelated industry helped me make the pivot by sharing my experience and views.

Making the smallest of acknowledgements can have a profoundly positive impact on someone’s day. Just think what could happen if you made it a point to say thank you to someone every day.
How early is too early to instill confidence in our children?
This precious face made me smile and the thought that the message being shared is a game-changer, particularly when it’s delivered to children ... early and often ... made that smile last.
Backgrounds are varied, opportunities aren’t distributed equally, but commitment, focus, and consistent action wins in a multitude of circumstances.
And when children believe these things ... magic happens.
Choosing to learn from failure, yes. Dwelling on the past, no.
We all have today and the efforts we choose to put forth in these 24 hours.
